8450LargeThe F28 were depressed well cars constructed by Altoona Car Shops in August 1927. Having a capacity of 125-tons, it offered advantages of both a depressed car and a well car. The cars were 52'6" long over strikers and had a well of 25'0" by 6'8". The F28 had a steel floor and steel decks. They ran on 2F-F1 six-wheel trucks.
