Middle Division

"Cove" is an area created by a semi-circular shaped mountain. Within the arc is the town of Perdix, Pa.

The Model

Four-track main-line running through block signals as the layout takes another 90-degree bend in the room, eventually arriving at Helix Two, located directly above Helix One. The Cove section is a narrow shelf backtracking above Harrisburg. It serves to get trains to Helix Two without creating a duckunder at the doorway.
