Jerry Britton's PRR Middle Division in HO Scale

National Car Company (MNX) was a subsidiary of Fruit Growers Express and provided refrigerator cars to the meat packing industry. Its cars were often lettered for its shippers, including Kahn's, Sioux City Dressed Beef, National Packing, and Pepper Packing.

Notable Number Series

Series 1800-2499 were built in 1955 at the CB&Q's shops and were equipped with meat rails. Some were leased to National Packing (Kansas City) and Pepper Packing (Denver).

Series 3000-3049. Some were leased to Sioux City Dressed Beef (NX).

Series @ 3374. Some were leased to Sioux City Dressed Beef (NX).

Series 3701-3798 were equipped with meat rails. Some were leased to Kahn's (EKSX).
