It's been a great week for layout construction. Today I started mocking up the trackwork for Lewistown Junction, in the station area.

I've created the roadbed for the mains through the station, with the crossover to the shop track. In the photo, track is loosely laid on top of the cork. Models of the station, eastbound shelter, REA building, and boarding house are in approximate place (with elevations not corrected).

I can now start working out the yard arrangement and the lead to the Lewistown Secondary to see how everything best fits.
